The guys at Soho Juice Company kindly sent me over a sample of their Lemon, Lime, Cucumber & Mint juice drink to take a look at, so, is it any good?
In a word, yes. To me, this is a perfect drink for summer days sat outside, especially for those not looking to drink alcohol, although as we’ll mention later, it does mix well too.
The Soho Juice (I’m not listing the full name evert time!) has a light and refreshing flavour that is far more grown up than the vast majority of soft drinks on the market now. If you enjoy your water with a little cucumber you’ll probably love this drink for its summery flavour. I was really glad that I got to try it sat in the garden in the sun, its the perfect location for it.
Soho Juice Cocktails
The Soho Juice is super mixable with spirits, though I would steer clear of heavy aged flavours and aim more towards vodkas, gins, white rum and even blanco tequila. The citrus notes will work very nicely and the drink is so well balanced you could use this as a great simple serve for those spirits.
Throw this into a long glass with crushed ice and some fresh mint and cucumber to garnish and you’re looking at something that would come across as a super premium mocktail, not just a juice poured right from a bottle.
So thank you to the Soho Juice Company for sending over the sample – This isn’t a paid review, but I didn’t have to go out and buy it either, so make of that what you will. I will be keeping an eye out for it in stores though, as I would spend my money on it in future!
