Moseley has some of the cooler bars in Birmingham, along with King’s Heath just down the road.

Moseley’s bar scene includes the Prince of Wales with its huge tiki bar behind, the Bull’s Head / Cuban Embassy rum specialist and the Dark Horse. There’s also the Bohemian which is a cool late bar, the Fighting Cocks, a traditional pub and the One Thick Pony Club, a former Irish bar that’s had a recent refit.

King’s Heath, just down the road is home to the Hare and Hounds, where UB40 performed their first ever gig. The pub’s just had a refurb and is looking great, still home to a lot of live music.

Later in the day my good friend Sonic popped around to practice some flair with me as he has a big event coming up soon – more on that when he lets me talk about it!
