The smokey character of this spirit works perfectly in a Mezcal Negroni, working around the bitterness of the aperitivo. Where gin is great, Mezcal Gin is all time!
What is Mezcal Gin?
Mezcal Gin takes a base of Mezcal produced in Durango from sustainable wild Cenzio Agave, infused with classic and Mexican botanicals.
The botanicals in Mezcal Gin include (Mexican botanicals in Bold):
- Juniper
- Cardamom
- Angelica
- coriander
- Dragon eye
- Guinea pepper
- Orange peel
- Nutmeg
- Chile ancho
- Hibiscus
- Lemongrass
- Avocado leaves
- It’s smokey complexity works stunningly well here, mixed with Campari and Antica Formula for an earthy sweet vermouth.
- The Mezcal Negroni itself could barely be more perfect for hipster bartenders with these ingredients! Bitter, smokey, stirred down and boozy!
