With the current trend for lower alcohol drinks, Vermouth is a great choice for adding bundles of flavour. In our Spiced Sangria we use 1oz (30ml) of this 18% abv drink. That means the resulting 6oz spiced sangria is just 3% abv or about the same as a low strength beer, but packed with complex flavours.

This Spiced Sangria recipe was created to showcase ODK’s purée and syrup range for the Birmingham Hoteliers at Library of Birmingham in October this year. They were looking to see some emerging trends, so we worked with Bacardi and their premium Vermouth.


Martini Rubino Spiced Sangria Recipe

  • 1oz (30ml) Martini Rubino Vermouth
  • 1oz (30ml) ODK Cherry Puree
  • ½oz (15ml) ODK Falernum Syrup
  • Top with Lemonade (Lemon Soda)

Build the ingredients with ice in a Gin Copa glass and stir. Garnish with a fresh cherry.
