History of The Last Word Cocktail
Created in the 1920s, The Last Word was first served in the Detroit Athletic Club but was never published until Ted Saucer’s 1951 Bottoms Up. The drink then all but disappeared until this century, being rediscovered by Murray Stenson in 2004, and made its place in the Mr Boston guide of 2009.
