I was asked to help the guys at Trilogy Beverages judge the Gold of Mauritius cocktail competition over the past few weeks, with the top drinks being presented at RumFest in London.

Laura presented her drink, the Gold Winter cocktail at the Birmingham heat of the Gold of Mauritius national cocktail competition at Island Bar’s Tiki Bar in Birmingham.

Gold Winter Cocktail Recipe

  • 50ml Gold of Mauritius
  • 25ml Cherry Brandy
  • 25ml Kahlua
  • 2 Dashes Cherry Bitters

The is served straight up in a Poco Grande glass with tabasco chocolate dipped cherries.
