Do you like your martini shaken or stirred? While you may not have a hard preference, I bet you know a movie character that has a pretty clear standpoint on this issue.

Sensitive taste buds, as those found in our favorite secret agent, can quickly recognize the difference and you wouldn’t want to be the bartender that got this wrong. Unless you’re dealing with Daniel Craig’s James Bond in Casino Royale where he doesn’t give a damn. I know, I know, sounds like a savage. The man just lost millions of dollars in a poker game, give him some slack.

As fans of both good movies and refreshing cocktails, we decided to try and bring them together. We took a stroll down the movie history lane and tried to connect recognizable movie characters with their favorite alcohol of choice. The only condition being that the alcohol was actually a type of cocktail 😊

We mixed up 4 oz of research, 1 package of creativity along with 2 tablespoons of Photoshop magic. Lo and behold, a movie cocktails mashup infographic was born.

We settled upon 15 signature cocktails from 15 different movies. On this list, you will encounter classics like The Big Lebowski, Casablanca, Breakfast At Tiffany’s and some lesser known flicks like Fletch and Cocktail.

Of course, just mentioning the drink name alongside the movie it appears in would be somewhat anticlimactic. So in case you want to taste any of them for yourself, every cocktail comes with a detailed list of ingredients as well with some basic instructions on how to mix them up.

We all know that ingredients are important but we also know how mixing technique can have a severe impact on the texture and taste of the drink. As this is an area where you probably have way more experience than us, we’ll leave the details up to you.
