Bacardi is launching a new spiced rum, Bacardi Carta Fuego along with its brand refresh of its core white rum, Bacardi Carta Blanca, and it’s made for shots!
Bacardi Carta Fuego Market Placement
Capitalising on the current trend for shooters, such as Maxxium’s Sours range, the new WKD1 and the staple Jagermeister, Bacardi’s offering is suggested to be served with spicy Tabasco sauce, giving it an edge in the 18-25 male demographic with its 40% abv making many RTD shots around the 15% mark look like juice.
We can’t wait to get our hands on it and try mixing with something a little higher on the Scoville scale like Dave’s Gormet Insanity Sauce, and perhaps even a Cuban style Bloody Mary. What would you mix it with?
Hands on with the new Bacardi Bottles
Bacardi has long been a favourite bottle of flair bartenders, and the new style bottles used for Bacardi Carta Fuego, Bacardi Carta Blanca and Bacardi Carta Negra have finally arrived. We test drive them in the Bartender HQ Podcast.
